AACUSS AGM 2026

The 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Atlantic Association of College & University Student Services will be held online on May 7 10:00 A.M. (ADT) / 10:30 A.M. (NDT). The AGM is an opportunity for AACUSS to discuss work completed over the last year and discuss amendments to the constitution & by-laws. Since elections for the new executive will take place in advance of the AGM, based on constitution changes approved last year, we will also be officially announcing the new Executive Committee at this time.

All amendments to the constitution & by-laws must be submitted to the membership with 30-days notice. Notification of any proposed changes for consideration at the AGM can be found here: 2026 Proposed Amendments.

To conduct the business of the AGM, at least 50 members (minimum 40 with 10+ proxy votes) must be in attendance. If you wish to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf please email your request to secretary@aacuss.ca by no later than 10am on May 5th with the name of the designated proxy and scope of the proxy’s voting authority. Proxy holders must be full members in good standing. No member may hold more than two proxy votes in addition to their own vote.

As a thank you for your commitment to AACUSS, all members attending the AGM will be entered to win a draw prize for one of four complimentary AACUSS memberships for 2026-2027.

If you are unable to register or have questions regarding the AGM, contact Becca Chaytor at communciations@aacuss.ca for assistance.
